I take a moment and walk through how I use reference and why.
I’ve added three new coffee/tea mugs to www.etsy.com/shop/hummingbirdlotus BB9 and Kylo Cardigan, Pugs Kanata and Confused Porg with a plastic saber.
Another puzzle to test more of Lulu’s mechanics. This time it’ll be her Dig, dash bash and ground pound. We’re working out other stuff as well but that’s the jist of it.
Lulu will be able to push but not pull most objects. We will establish a pattern for objects she can pull like small boxes or wooden pallets. Her inability to pull objects she can’t grip onto is a limitation the player will have to work around in some puzzles. In this test puzzle she will use the 360 throw, pull and push.
Juan put together a test level in Unity based off the puzzle concept. It’s a quick build so the boxes have little weight and it’s missing the 360 attack/throw that disconnects the arm using a piece of rubble. But I love being able to interact with the idea and start to work out the mechanics. For instance, Lulu will only be able to push boxes. Taking away the players ability to pull will force us to design around that and make the player think about how to approach the world and puzzle with that limitation.
The 65 page, 8.5 x 11 , softcover collection of illustrations created within the last 6 months is available on Amazon for 40.00. At the moment I have no idea how to add sample pages so I’m working on that. But everyone here has seen my work and pretty much knows what to expect.
As always, thanks to everyone for all your support.
Latest commission There are probably going to be some minor changes once the client sees it but this is 98% of how the final came out.
